Darkest Hour – released 12th January 2018
Already one to watch at this year’s Oscars with Best Actor, Best Picture and Best Director all in play, this World War II drama chronicles Winston Churchill’s refusal to surrender as Britain fights it’s ‘darkest hour’. Joe Wright directs Gary Oldman as Churchill in this epic biopic, which already has nine BAFTA nominations and six Oscar nominations to its name…
Paddington 2 – released 10th November 2017
A lighter addition to the list, Paddington 2 is packed with witticisms, mischief and a whirlwind of mayhem. In this eagerly anticipated sequel, the nation’s favourite bear hatches a plan to catch a dastardly thief in order to secure the perfect present for his Aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday… Directed by Paul King, this heart-warming family comedy already has three BAFTA nominations, including Outstanding British Film and Best Adapted Screenplay.
