Key responsibilities:

– Managing the Kitchen Staff
– Making sure the kitchen is a safe and hygienic place to work
– Organizing the inventory, storage, and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies
– Helping to plan menus, apportion ingredients and use food surpluses
– Control portion costs by working out the number of portions per food batch
– You will also be required to cook

Summary of position: Play Centre Team Members are responsible for assisting in all areas of the play Centre. A team member may have a mixture of duties in any day and are expected to cover and move between each of the areas that they have had training in.

Primary Responsibilities: Cleaning – Every member of staff has responsibilities for ensuring a high level of cleanliness at all times throughout the whole of Amazonia. Training will be provided.

Reception/Customer Service – Providing a high level of customer service to all customers entering and exiting the play area. Ensuring customers are made aware of any future events taking place within Amazonia.

Barista – Preparing and serving drinks and snacks. Training will be provided.

Experience
Essential – must pass DBS (employer will cover cost)

Desirable – Experience of working in childcare environment / Experience in working in leisure or retail sector / Experience in working in Children’s Entertainment Centre/ Working with the general public/ Cash Handling.

Qualities & Attitude
