Bolton Light Festival Comes to Market Place

We’re really excited to be hosting an event as part of the Bolton Light Festival this Thursday 9th November.

The event called ‘Light up your life’ is aimed at the young people of Bolton and will include a variety of stalls and entertainment from Bolton FM and the stars of the Octagon Theatre’s show, SEAGULLS.

Stalls set to be trading at the event include a fair trade stall, a book stall and a stall run by local gaming café ‘Cherry Moon’ who combine their dining offer with video and board games. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a make-up stall and a variety of art activities.

There will also be lots more to enjoy with local traders, organisations and community groups taking part on the day.

The event is a great opportunity for youngsters of Bolton to come together, meet new people and socialise, while enjoying free entertainment and a variety of merchandise, just for them.

‘SEAGULLS’ is a production by The Octagon Theatre and University of Bolton in association with Middle Child. A story of romance and quest for fame, SEAGULLS is Inspired by Chekhov’s The Seagull. This punchy new musical from up and coming writer Beth Hyland brings the classic play into the 21st Century.
