Manchester’s most iconic cafe, Black Milk, has finally extended its chocolatey reach beyond the hallowed City Centre with the opening of its first franchise store this April, at Market Place in Bolton.
The specially designed store environment, exclusive to Black Milk, features the iconic palm wallpaper, interior botanical theme and captures the same aesthetic feel of the Manchester café, whilst still keeping true to the Victorian theme of the building. Also, highly trained staff will be on hand to advise, bake and serve the new menu alongside Black Milk’s famous irresistible Freak!Shakes.
The menu expands on the already diverse and specialised choices available with a new line of cakes and desserts. Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or just a snack, the menu and atmosphere will leave you both content and curious. From the eccentric styled desserts to the specially selected wall art or the curated music playlists, Black Milk Bolton will leave no feature overlooked.
Bolton had several fundamental reasons for landing the first Black Milk franchise, even after only 2 years of the original cafe opening. Firstly, it was proposed by a regular customer of the Manchester site who also shared the same vision of quality and development. And secondly, it’s the hometown and place of education for 2 of Black Milk’s senior team, adding a higher intrinsic purpose.
Oliver Lloyd Taylor, Black Milk’s Founder, describes the new store as ‘a fusion of nu-wave interactive desserts and drinks that allow customers to fully submerge themselves into an exciting atmosphere and experience.’
He added, ‘the opening of Black Milk Bolton is a reflection of exciting things to come from us. We are committed to continuing to innovate and delight our customers with what they want – quality styled food and drink alongside a submersible and fun atmosphere that can be shared through social media platforms.’
Black Milk Bolton is located on the exterior façade of Market Place on Knowsley Street, with opening times of 12:00noon – 8:00pm Tuesday – Sunday
Nikki Wilson-Cook, Centre Manager, Market Place says,
“We’re thrilled with the opening of Black Milk at Market Place. Its addition really heightens the increasingly cosmopolitan feel of the centre, which is proving popular with our customers.”
