At Market Place, we’re like one big family – and that goes for the teams in the stores that help to make the centre the success that it is today. So from time to time, we like to get together and find out a little more about the people that head up those valued teams. Our latest catch up was with Zoe from Next, and here’s what she has to say about store life…
What is your job title?
What is it like working for Next?
Next is a fantastic company to work for!
What is the most enjoyable part of your job?
Inspiring my team to achieve amazing results, they are a wonderful team who work hard and I’m lucky to have them.
What is your typical day like?
Busy, very busy!
Is there anything you would change about your job?
Nothing! I love my job!
Will there be any offers/ promotions available in the coming weeks?
Other than our usual multi buy offers, we don’t have any promotions on. The Next sale in July and December is always popular!
Give me one fun fact about yourself?
I’m probably described as a bit of a nutter. My store is a fun place to work and it’s down to the attitude that myself and my team bring to work. We enjoy our time there and the results follow suit.
How did you get the job at Next?
I started as a sale temp in July 2007 and progressed upwards from there through hard-work and dedication.
Who is your ultimate fashion/style icon?
I wish I could say I have one particular style icon but I feel that fashion is so diverse that it’s impossible to choose just one iconic individual from the fashion industry. Especially considering our personal style is dependent on our moods. There are so many wonderfully different people out there of all shapes and sizes, who set such a positive example and influence fashion trends, that I struggle to choose just one icon to admire.
What’s your ‘must have’ fashion trend or item right now?
Summer shoes have always been my favourite but currently wedged sandals are my summer must have!
Favourite thing to do in Bolton (besides shop, eat and watch movies at Market Place!)?
I do love visiting Bolton’s aquarium; it’s so interesting and not what you expect!
